Which one is your favorite?
There are so many ways that you can be festive this Fourth of July and it doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to wear a t-shirt with a flag on it. What about a flag bandana around your neck (neckerchief)? Or a decorative bandana with pops of red-white-blue…red tassel earrings…so many options– you just have to think outside the box. And that’s what I’m here for…to help you do just that. It’s one of my favorite past-times 🙂
When I think of Fourth of July festive (meaning apparel), I think of denim, boots and beer– which is why I went with a chambray look and topped it off with a flag bandana. And with the bandana, you can wear it wrapped around your neck, head or wrist; the choice is yours! To top off the festive look even more, add a pop of red to your lips. Red is not really my color so…I went with the red hair instead 😉 haha!
Since it’s so hot in AZ right now, I couldn’t wear the cute little booties that I had in mind…so instead, I went with one my favorite wedge heels right now. Target has the best shoes! #AmIRight
If you have any questions on what to wear or need more ideas…shoot me a message! xo!

This dress has become my staple. I’m not even kidding…I want to wear it all day, every day. And, I’ve pretty much worn it to multiple events because it’s just so simple and chic, and easy to throw on and go. I need more dresses like this in my life–it’s makes getting dressed so much easier, especially in the summer.
If you don’t like have a denim dress in your wardrobe, get it. In fact, get all types of denim! Denim is still in and has been for a while. And the best part is that you can dress up denim in all types of color (white, dark wash, light wash, chambray, etc.) + dress it up with statement jewelry.
I love dressing simple pieces up with pops of color like these Baublebar earrings. Baublebar and Vanessa Mooney have become my go-to jewelry designers for earrings as of late–such gorgeous and bright pieces.
What are you waiting for? Go purchase that OTS denim dress 😉
Warm tones are always in my wardrobe– that and neutrals. However, warm weather is NOT something I’d like in my wardrobe… ya feel me? Honestly, I’m not a summer girl and I don’t really enjoy summer attire. I’m more of a Fall girl…you know #basicbetch type of thing. PSL and all. Just kidding, I DO NOT like PSL’s. But I do like Fall weather and all that comes with it. So I’ll just be dreaming of chunky sweaters, booties and leather.
Until then, you can check out this fun tube top that I snagged from Billabong believe it or not. I was at Nordstrom Rack and stumbled upon this beaut– it was the color that stood out to me…obviously.

I love a dress that’s simple…mostly because it gives you a chance to add your own ‘flavor’ to it. And with this charcoal slip dress number, it does just that. It’s comfy, sleek and extremely versatile and to dress it up a bit more, I paired it with a bib-collar necklace (compliments of Park Lane Jewelry) and a snake-print clutch.
I’m currently going through my closet trying to find the perfect dress for this weekend’s Runway of Hope Fashion show! I would wear this little number but unfortunately I wore it for a charity event a few weeks ago…and you know, I can’t be a #repeatoffender.

Who knew button-up corduroy skirts would be such a staple piece in my wardrobe this spring! First off, this skirt is under $20 (details on look down below) and secondly, it’s RUST! Oh, it’s also super comfortable. One of my favorite color combos is rust and yes, you guessed it…BLUSH!
I don’t think I own enough off-the-shoulder tops, do you? Just kidding. It’s literally all I want to wear. I hope the OTS trend never gets old…and even if it does, no care. This look is so simple and effortless. I’m all about effortless chic; especially when the temp is rising.
Honestly, my obsession with this color palette is borderline out of control. I can’t help it. Once I find a color(s) that works for me, I immerse myself in it. I have a closet full of clothes and only want to wear a few colors…therefore, it’s time to go shopping for more shades of blush/rust/mauve.

Pastels for days.
I’m head over heels…in deep, deep love for pastels. I especially love mixing powder pink and blue together. Back in the day, you wouldn’t catch me wearing such light colors– I used to only rock a dark color palette (years ago) but now, I honestly don’t feel myself in black. As a red head, earth tones look the best on my skin and I’m totally A-OK with that because I LOVE me some earth tones. In fact, I’m trying to get rid of all the dark colors in my wardrobe and keep the light palette going.
If you’re scared to go lighter, take it one step at a time and add a pair of pastel earrings to your dark wardrobe for a ‘pop of color’ and then work your way to making everything lighter. Or don’t..it’s your preference. But trust me, once you start wearing lighter, neutral colors…it changes your mood, in a good way. For me at least 🙂
P.S. I’m loving ruffles right now and these frill shorts are so fun!

Cuff: Charming Charlie
Every wrist needs some arm candy. Enter my Jord Watch giveaway and you can accessorize with the best of them. Details below!
And now for the added arm candy— this JORD watch gives the look an extra ‘pop’. With all the soft pastels, the contrast of the dark wood brings life / pizazz to the look.
The Watch: Frankie Series-Dark Sandalwood & Smoke
Let’s talk about the packaging. I LOVE details and JORD got their details right. As soon as my watch arrived, I was blown away by the packaging and how luxurious it was. I especially love the microfiber cloth! It’s the little things like this that add the extra wow factor.
The watch itself is stunning and such good quality; it’s hand-crafted, powered by a Swiss Movement. My favorite part is the rose gold details in the clock face! I love me some rose gold. It’s such a unique piece and definitely conversational–I’ve had so many comments about it. It’s a nice change from the regular stainless steel watch. Not to mention, the versatility of the watch; wear it casual or dress it up. The beautiful Frankie pairs perfectly with additional arm candy (think simple gold bangles) or looks elegant and sleek on it’s own.
Spoil yourself with a wooden timepiece OR gift your Mother one of these beauts for a unique Mother’s Day gift. If not your mom, perhaps a graduation gift? Or….. #treatyoself. In my opinion, you can never have too many watches. Right? Especially when it’s a unique piece like JORD. My Frankie Series watch is a larger face (think boyfriend style but not too big) which is the size I prefer but if you’re in search of a smaller style women’s watch, check out their Cora Series! And Men, don’t feel left out because the Men’s watches are just as amazing. Husband approved.
Minimalism has never equated to more. Deeply toned sandalwood combines with a solid smoke face to create a subtlety of strength. Your time is your own. Find elegance with ease in the ultra slim case powered by a Swiss movement and enjoy the comfort of the straight line strap. The uncomplicated face allows focus, the streamlined shaping offers style. Wear time well with the Frankie Dark Sandalwood & Smoke. JORD
What I love about JORD is their ‘journey‘ and what they stand for. A watch reminds you to be in the moment, to be aware of the time you have in this life and to make the time that you have count.
